With less than a month until the highly anticipated premiere of When Calls the Heart season 11 on April 7, fans are filled with excitement to reunite with the beloved characters of Hallmark’s cherished frontier town. Already, viewers are having lively discussions as they dissect the press photos for the initial three episodes, speculating eagerly on the destiny of two cherished characters. The anticipation is palpable!
In one photo, Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton (Erin Krakow) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) are posed for what looks to be an additional possible cast photo for the Season 11 series poster. Episode 1 photos also reveal Elizabeth, in the saloon, looking at what we now know is Nathan. Recent previews by both Hallmark Channel and the Super Channel have revealed that Elizabeth decides to cut her hair and when the town sees the new Elizabeth, Nathan affirms her decision by telling her that she looks great!
Episode two photos show Elizabeth excited for Nathan as he enters the surprise birthday party that she and Allie plan together for Nathan. We also see Nathan sitting in a circle with others from the town enjoying the party.
And, we see that Nathan appears to be thrilled with the surprise as he enters the party in his nice blue suit.
Episode three photos continue to show more dialogue and smiles between the two as they have a conversation outside of the school.
It’s fairly safe to say, based on these photos, the latest trailers from three different networks, and cast interviews that Nathan and Elizabeth are finally in a place to fully explore their feelings for each other. Clearly, this budding romance is moving in the right direction, but will it be smooth sailing all the way to the altar? I predict that we will have a fairly good idea as to how fast this romance will move in Season 11 by episode four. It will be interesting to see what those photos divulge when Hallmark releases the next set of WCTH press photos.
