Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace just dropped the sweetest news — they’re going to be parents!
The When Calls the Heart couple shared their announcement with a cozy photo that instantly melted everyone’s hearts. Standing in front of a Christmas tree, Kevin is gently cradling Kayla’s baby bump while she smiles beside him. Kayla captioned the post,
“We can’t wait to meet you, baby♥️ Premiering 2026.”
Leave it to these two to turn a pregnancy announcement into a Hallmark moment — complete with a “premiere date.”
With Kevin just coming off of a whirlwind weekend on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise and Kayla heading into the Season 2 Premiere week of Landman 2, it’s the perfect time to share the news with fans.
The photo appears to have been taken inside the Plaza Hotel in New York City, which fans know is one of their favorite places. They’ve made a little tradition of visiting NYC around Christmas, and it looks like they kept it going this year alongside Kayla’s press tour in NYC.
Kevin and Kayla first met on the set of When Calls the Heart, where he plays Mountie Nathan Grant and she played Fiona Miller. They went on to star together in Feeling Butterflies and My Grown-Up Christmas Wish List, two movies that felt like watching their real connection play out in Hallmark form.
They got engaged around Christmas in 2022 and confirmed their marriage in September 2024 with the post “Just McGarried.” Now, they’re adding “mom” and “dad” to their story — and honestly, it feels like the perfect next chapter for them–and yes, we haven’t forget about favorite McGarry doggie Darla.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned watching Kevin and Kayla over the years, it’s that their love story seems to grow a little brighter every season. And now, that glow just got a whole lot sweeter.
