Hope Valley is getting ready to come back to life.
Production on When Calls the Heart Season 14 is officially underway, with prep beginning June 22, 2026. Cameras are scheduled to roll on August 4, with filming expected to continue through November 25.
Returning to lead the series are executive producers Vicki Sotheran and Greg Malcolm, who also serve as producers. Behind the camera, Season 14 will feature directors Kristin Lehman, Alysse Leite-Rogers, Peter DeLuise, Martin Wood, and Lucie Guest.
Guest joins When Calls the Heart as a first-time director after establishing herself as both an actress and director. Hallmark viewers may recognize her from projects including The Wish Swap, Holiday Road, and Return to Office. In recent years, she has expanded her work behind the camera, directing episodes of series such as Allegiance and last year’s hit movie series Providence Falls, making her addition to the Hope Valley creative team an intriguing one.
One name notably absent from the current production list is Mike Rohl. A longtime When Calls the Heart director whose episodes have become fan favorites over the years, Rohl is not currently listed among Season 14’s directors.
Returning crew members include director of photography Andrew Coppin, production designer Sarah Mabberley, costume designer Barbara Gregusova, associate producer and production manager Michael Magnusson, production coordinator Michael Lien, construction coordinator Chris Gaunt, transportation coordinator Kent MacDonald, props master Melody Wilson, and set decorator Anna Kim.
For fans eager for the first signs of the new season, those updates may not be far away. Costume designer Barbara Gregusova has often shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of costume fittings as production ramps up, and with prep already in progress, Hearties could begin seeing those early teases in the coming weeks.
As filming begins in August, fans can also expect the cast to gradually return to set, offering the first behind-the-scenes photos and videos as Hope Valley welcomes everyone back for another season.
