Hearties, did we just get confirmation we’ve all been waiting for?
At this year’s Hearties Family Reunion, the annual When Calls the Heart fan convention held in Vancouver, Erin Krakow revealed that Elizabeth and Nathan are officially married. In a clip shared by @wcth_tv, Erin also described something as “scary and special and wonderful,” which fans watching the clip believe points back to the couple’s unforgettable engagement.
As a refresher, Nathan finally popped the question to Elizabeth in the Season 13 finale. Thanks to a last-minute idea from Elizabeth, the two climbed to the top of the Hope Valley water tower and took in the view before he pulled out the ring. The ring has four stones representing Nathan, Elizabeth, Allie and Little Jack, a symbol that they are already one family.
The best part of the moment? Erin immediately joked that she wasn’t sure she was supposed to say that, and Kevin McGarry chimed in with, “Wow! Drop it!”
And Erin wasn’t the only one sharing wedding scoop. Jack Wagner added a few sweet details of his own: Nathan is in the Mountie serge in the scene, Bill and Little Jack will be in matching suits, and Bill will stand beside Nathan. After all the years Bill has spent looking out for this family, it’s hard to imagine a more fitting choice.
The reveals line up with what Hallmark has already teased. A recent Season 14 promo showed Elizabeth introducing Abigail to her new fiancé, Nathan, with Abigail saying she couldn’t miss the wedding. And, Marilu Henner was on set recently to play “Birdie” Grant, Nathan’s mom. Season 14 is filming now and is set to return January 2027.
